The Pt100 RTD temperature sensor with a KNE terminal head is a robust industrial probe suitable for a variety of applications. It is designed for measuring the temperature of liquids and gases within a wide range of -75 to +400°C. This sensor can be easily mounted in ducting, pipework, tanks, and vessels using appropriate fittings such as compression fittings or thermowells.
The sensor is pressure-tight and constructed with a TIG welded plain 6mm or 8mm diameter stem made from 304 stainless steel. Due to its robust mounting method, the terminal housing connection is welded, making it ideal for applications in the food industry where cleanliness is crucial, or where vibration is present.
This Pt100 RTD sensor provides an accuracy of +/-0.3°C at 0°C. The KNE terminal head is made from aluminum alloy with a silver painted finish and has an ingress protection rating of IP68. The lid of the terminal head screws on and is retained by a stainless steel chain.
Inside the terminal head is a 4-20mA output temperature transmitter, enabling the transmission of the sensor signal over greater distances without losing accuracy. A simple 2-core cable connects the sensor to your instrumentation. The transmitter is loop-powered and accepts a power supply of 10 to 30 VDC. The standard range is 0 to 100°C, but the transmitter can be configured for any range between -50 and 500°C. Please get in touch with us for custom ranges.
